Meet the world’s first USDA certified organic barrel aged coffee. And not just any coffee, we took our Cuba Mia espresso beans and soaked them in Havana Club run barrels. The result is the perfect pairing of the natural dark toffee and molasses of the coffee with the caramel sweetness and slight spiciness of the rum. We recommend brewing espresso from the beans, rather than drip coffee, for a more intense hit of coffee-rum flavor.

MYCOTOXINS FREE ASSURANCE: Here's how we keep our promise: First, we are fastidious about our beans and quality. Secondly, we moisture test every batch to ensure levels below 13% (mycotoxin simply can’t grow). Third, we test every lot of green coffee beans for these four mycotoxins: Ochratochin A, Aflatoxin B1, Fumonisin B1 and T-2. Lastly, we roast every batch for over 10 minutes, at temperatures over 415 degrees which has been shown to eliminate the risk of mycotoxins.

After the beans have gone through the elephant's body, we sort and select only the best beans, clean them and roast them to order. The process is completely natural to protect the environment and draw out all the natural and characteristic flavors of the delicate coffee beans.
